UNMAO Update

The conference in Geneva envisaged no problems regarding the funding of mine action programmes orldwide. As for the ITF, they are planinng to bring in three demining teams which will be here untill the first of July. The arrival of other international clearance teams will depend on funding resources. The two national database operators were identified by the government and they will attend the GIS training in Tirana, so by the middle of April we will have a fully functional national mine action office.
