Cross and ICRC/IFRC The process of de-registration, conducted by the MRC, is ongoing and a decrease of IDPs’ number is expected. Due to this, already two collective centres in Dojran were closed and only CCs in Negorski Banji, Geveglija and MRC camp in Dojran are left open. 3.Update by other UN Agencies & Donors Yesterday, as a confidence building activity and contribution to IDP returnee, UNHCR organised a meeting for the two communities from the village of Matejce. UNHCR plan to establish a bus line on the route Kumanovo-Matejce to enhance the freedom of movement. The QIPs, Selection Committee is meeting regularly, every week, and already some of the approved projects are in process of implementation. WHO reported that latest Wednesday, next week, the three ambulantas in the Lipkovo area (Matejce, Nikustak and Slupcane) will be furnished and ARC’s medical mobile teams will be functional. 4.Update on local NGOs’ coordination’s A remark was given to the Macedonian Red Cross, stressing that IDPs in host families haven’t received much assistance. An appeal for better collaboration and co-ordination between international and local NGOs was given, to contribute the provision of humanitarian assitnace for people in need. 5.Update on international NGOs’ activities
(International NGO Council) To gather information on goals at local level and involve all relevant organizations, NGO Council members have held several discussions about the appropriate approach. The Council has discussed this with MCIC (Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation) and a meeting with the Open Society Institute -Soros was arranged for next Monday. AOB
