Ad. 2

Rahmani Memedali, Mesecina, said that the displaced persons from the region of Gorna Reka had visited their homes twice so far by convoy organized by themselves and supported by OSCE. Because nobody guarantees their safety, the Coordinative Body for Crisis Management should organize these convoys. It is also necessary to pay more attention on the families hosting displaced persons, as well as to help financially the persons that returned in their homes and the UNHCR's announcement for supporting these people with heating fuel should be realized as soon as possible.

Dilbera Kamberovska, Daja, said that the displaced persons in Cicino Selo (mostly Romas from Radusa and a small number from Tetovo, a total of 157 IDPs) live in extremely inappropriate conditions. Besides the daily meal, these people do not get anything. The children do not go to school and there is a danger from diseases.

Ahmed Jasarovski, Drom, added that the people in Cicino Selo wish to visit their homes and the necessary conditions for their safe return should be made.

After the discussion, the participants resumed the following

Conclusions

  1. A convoy for IDPs from Gorna Reka should be organized. Because the IDPs from Gorna Reka visited their homes on their own and without guarantees for their safety, the Governmental Body for Crisis Management should organize these convoys. Therefore, the NHC representatives should submit this demand to the Coordination Body.

  2. Mutual post-crisis activity. Because the situation is normalizing, it is necessary to take mutual action by the NGO Humanitarian Coordination aimed at IDPs' needs for returning to their normal everyday life.
