Dr. Rebac opened the meeting by representing to the participants Mr. Klans Frey, Task Force Fox representative. Dr. Rebac explained him that the HCM is a meeting where all international organizations which are working on the projects related to health are invited and that the main point of the meeting is mutual changing of information regarding health issues.

Dr. Rebac informed that MoH appointed Dr. Kiro Salvani as a contact person in the MoH for post conflict activities in the health sector. WHO had meeting with him on January 29, 2002 on which was discussed about the reconstruction issues on the field. Ambulanta in Lipkovo is in the process of reconstruction. This reconstruction is founded by ECHO and also Solidarites are involved.

In Radusa there were problems in entering the village. With the good will of the director of Gjorce Petrov it is arranged a doctor (man who was leaving in Radusa before) to visit the village two times a week with the help of OSCE. The ambulanta in Radusa is a very big complex with X-ray department. Reconstruction of the new premises of the ambulanta has been finished by CRS.

WHO is negotiating in the future the Health Sector Coordination Meeting to be held in the Ministry of Health. Participants will be informed accordingly.

ARC is continuing with health education program. There are finishing with the program in Kumanovo and starting with the same program in Dojran.

Developing of few new programs is planned.

TFF representative informed that they have two projects on health, establishing permanent medical care in Vejce with cooperation of the director of Medicl Centar in Tetovo and reconstruction of ambulanta in Lipkovo in cooperation with Intersos.

UNICEF is running regular development project. Support for distribution of the drug shipments is needed. Dr. Rebac suggested a small meeting regarding drug supply to be arranged.

IOM - regular activities.

AAR JAPAN – regular activities

IRC is continuing with it’s program for provision of Primary Health Care for IDP’s in Kumanovo and Aracinovo. The number of patients is 70 a day, sometimes even bigger.

In Aracinovo cases with upper respiratory tract infections are registered.

IFRC/MRC are starting with a new project for PHC financed by UNHCR.

UNHCR – joined project UNHCR/WHO through mobile teams of IRC has been finished and a new project with IFRC/MRC for PHC has started.

Handicap International started with the third phase of the project that they were running during the summer. The project will be done in Tetovo, Skopje and Kumanovo.

Amrican Refugee Committee are running regular program for health education in Shuto Orizari and health education in the other collective centers.

NATO representatives represented themselves, saying that they are for the first time on the Health Coordination Meeting on invitation of the HoO of WHO, and that they will continue to participate this meeting.
